I know there are days when getting out of bed is enough of a challenge if you've got chronic pain. On those days, you might find that ankle rolls are the best you can do. But don't let that become an excuse for only doing ankle rolls as your exercise routine! Moving - any amount - will improve circulation which helps to decrease pain. And the side effects are great! You're smiling more!
So this week's video is about walking - just putting one foot in front of the other - any amount that's possible for you. Always listen to your body (even when it's screaming at you!). Maybe today you'll only make it as far as the mailbox. Maybe tomorrow you'll make it to the neighbor's house. And maybe the next day it'll be ankle rolls. Just keep at it, and your pain levels will become more manageable - pinky promise!
